alivenotdead.com is one of the current incubatee from Cyberport IncuTrain Centre. They open to any genre of artist and their fans. Their users hail from around the world and they have already held official events in Hong Kong, Singapore, Beijing, San Francisco and Los Angeles. Official artists range from local indie rock bands in Hong Kong to directors in Hollywood to major international stars like Jet Li.

Alivenotdead.com: This world-wide social-networking website is based in Hong Kong and has about 500,000 users. But most of those members — about 80% — are Chinese users in the mainland, Taiwan or North America. There is also a small contingent of Europeans on the site who are fans of kung-fu movies. The site offers users a suite of products, including blogs, microblogs, profile pages and forums, specifically designed for the arts and entertainment community. But, said Chief Operating Officer Raffi Kamalian, it isn't trying to be Facebook. "[The website] creates opportunities you can't get in monolithic multinational corporations," he said. When TVB, the Hong Kong TV channel, was casting for an online television show in the autumn, the broadcasting company drew its talent from alivenotdead. The first episode of this music-focused show aired Jan. 7. Like Sina, alivenotdead.com gets a little help from some big-name users – namely actors Daniel Wu, a co-founder, and Jet Li and Jackie Chan.
