Startups Connect: Networking with Education-related App Developers

Cyberport IncuTrain Centre will have "Startups Connect" networking event to bring industry professionals, startup companies, incubatees and alumni together with their presentations and mentors / guests in the event. During the event, participants are encouraged to freely exchange info at the end

Call for Interest: Windows Phone 7 Application and Game Development Training

Windows Phone 7 is expected to be launched towards the end of 2010 and have been an industry focus since its announcement in February. It opens up a brand new platform for software companies to develop and distribute their mobile games and applications. An in-depth training for local software developers will help them become the first mover in Windows Phone 7 MarketPlace and gain first-mover advantage.

About the Speaker Mr. Simon Dalziel

Simon is a senior information systems professional with 30 years of experience in business systems development. His key skills are enterprise architectures, IS strategy, business process and data modelling and data management. He is certified in TOGAF 7, 8 and 9.

Simon has been involved in the development of enterprise architectures and IS strategies for several major companies and government organisations. He was a work group leader for the development of TOGAF 9 with The Open Group Architecture Forum and was also a member of the joint Open Group/OMG working group mapping TOGAF to MDA.

Education and diversity

Simon holds a degree in Photographic Technology is a graduate of the Royal Air Force College, Cranwell and successfully completed the Ground Instructional Technique course at the RAF School of Education. When he is not at a client site or in the classroom, he lives with his family in Normandy, France.
